A hot air generator (HAG) burns fuel in a furnace and transfers the heat to air through a heat exchanger, giving a steady supply of hot air for spray dryers, flash dryers, tray dryers, fluid bed dryers and curing ovens. Indirect-fired designs keep the flue gas separate from the process air, which matters for products that must not be contaminated.

What is the difference between a direct and an indirect hot air generator?
In an indirect-fired unit the flue gas passes through a heat exchanger and never touches the process air, so the hot air stays clean. Direct-fired units mix combustion gases with the air and suit products that can tolerate this.
Can you match a hot air generator to my existing dryer?
Yes. Share the dryer type, the air flow and temperature it needs, and we will design the HAG, ducting and blower to suit.
Which fuels can be used?
